Back from an Amazing and Heartwarming Trip to Uganda

Dear friends and partners,

We have just returned from a truly amazing and moving trip to Uganda, where we visited our projects and saw firsthand how your support is making a real difference in people’s lives. Here are some of the powerful moments we would love to share with you:

Visiting Our Sponsored Children at the School for the Deaf

We had the great joy of visiting our wonderful sponsored children at the school for the deaf. Many of them had never seen white people before and were thrilled to hold Emmely’s hand and receive a warm hug.

These children, who were once isolated in their homes, now have the opportunity to go to school and learn sign language. Together with their parents, they have also received training in growing vegetables and raising animals like chickens and goats. The teachers proudly told us how they are using Farming 4 Life methods at home—and even teaching their neighbors!

From Street Life to Carpentry

We also met a fantastic group of boys who used to live on the streets, cut off from their families. With our help, they have been reunited with their loved ones and are now training to become carpenters. They are producing beautiful chairs and are so proud of their new skills—a wonderful journey from hopelessness to a bright future!

Teenage Mothers Who Found Hope Again

Today we met a group of young mothers who have participated in our project. They shared how their lives have been transformed—from hiding in shame and loneliness to becoming part of a strong, supportive community.

Many of them are now entrepreneurs, working as seamstresses, and are experiencing a brand-new start in life. One amazing mom and her lovely little girl are now looking ahead to a bright and hopeful future!

Celebrating Milestones—and a New Beginning!

We also celebrated Farming 4 Life’s 15-year anniversary and Global Children Uganda’s 10-year anniversary. These two organizations have worked closely together for many years, reaching both adults, youth, and children.

Our activities have expanded to many new areas, and with that growth, we have decided to unite under a new name: All 4 Life – an international organization that brings all our work together under one umbrella.

The website will be updated continuously, and a new logo is on the way. You can read more here: www.all4life.org

Will You Join Us in Making a Difference?

At All 4 Life, we are now working to establish a Christian Knowledge & Training Center in Uganda, where we will equip both vulnerable youth and local church leaders to connect faith with practical life transformation.

We aim to reach at least 1,000 families per year and create a financially sustainable center through local initiatives. The training center will be built on our strong, holistic teaching principles:

  • Farming 4 Life – Sustainable agriculture based on biblical principles (Farming God’s Way, Perma tree gardens, etc.)

  • Health 4 Life – Health, nutrition, and mental well-being.

  • Investment 4 Life – Financial stewardship and responsibility.

  • Serving 4 Life – Mission and practical diaconal service.

  • Mindset 4 Life – Personal development, responsibility, and faith.

  • Skills 4 Life – Entrepreneurship, craftsmanship, and innovation.

  • Education 4 Life – Educational support for vulnerable children and youth, such as teenage mothers and children with disabilities.

To make this dream a reality, we are seeking to raise DKK 450,000 to build the necessary facilities, develop an online learning platform, and strengthen our training programs.

Will you invest in a new generation of young people who can change the world through faith and action?

Thank you so much for your ongoing support—together, we are making a difference!

Warm greetings,

Maria & Jens Silkjær
